Bank of Italy issued on June 18, 2009 the provisions on the new system for settling disputes out of court relating to transactions and banking and financial services, banking, finance Arbitration, the new procedure will resolve out of court disputes between banks and customers should be starting next September. The framework implements the decision of the ICRC on 29 July 2008 which, in turn, follows Article 128-bis of the Banking Law which requires banks and financial intermediaries to participate in alternative dispute resolution systems with customers
